Our Team

Uniek is founded by a team of experienced operators who have worked together across multiple companies over many years. Bas Kohnke is a Y Combinator alumnus (S14) who founded and exited the HR-tech company Impraise. Kareem Zaher is an experienced CTO who previously led engineering teams at Booking.com and the unicorn scale-up BetterUp. Floor Püttner is the creator of Villa El Limon, a highly successful and popular vacation villa, and brings deep first-hand expertise in what it takes to deliver an exceptional guest experience. Together, we combine startup-building experience, technical depth, and real operator know-how from inside the vacation rental world.

About the Role

We're looking for a sharp, recently graduated generalist to join our team as an operational jack-of-all-trades. You'll sit at the intersection of customer success, operations, sales, and product, working directly with both property owners and service providers on our platform to keep things running smoothly and help us grow. This is the kind of role where no two days look the same. One morning you might be onboarding a new property owner, the afternoon coordinating an onsite meeting for a service provider try-out, and by evening flagging a recurring product complaint to the CTO. About You

You have gained 1–2 years of work experience at another startup or recently graduated your masters degree as top student in your batch and ready for a startup experience in the AI era. Your friends describe you as a high achiever, curious person who is continuously learning, playing around with new tools or trying out the next new thing, an organized operator and an independent thinker. In the past year you've really embraced AI tools and not just used ChatGPT to ask it questions, but actually built things with it and integrated it into your workflow.

What You'll Do

Account Management, Property Owners

  • Onboard new hosts onto the platform and guide them through their first experience
  • Provide responsive, thoughtful customer support and resolve issues end-to-end

Account Management, Service Providers

  • Help service providers onboard and track sign-ups through the funnel
  • Be the go-to point of contact for service provider questions and issues

Coordination of Service Provider Recruitment

  • Coordinate onsite meetings and prepare service providers for try-outs
  • Track sign-ups and keep the pipeline organized and moving

Operations

  • Coordinate service provider bookings management across the platform
  • Monitor availability and coverage area of Service Providers
  • Monitor platform usage, spot patterns, and surface anything that needs attention

Product

  • Channel feedback and complaints from hosts and SPs into actionable insights for the product team — you'll be one of the closest people to our users, and your input will shape what we build next
  • Testing new product features before release
